A passionate dental mentor through and through, Grant wears his heart on his sleeve and has gained a reputation as the ‘no-nonsense, tell-all’ dentist on social media.

His Ugly Truth videos have now been watched hundreds of thousands of times across the globe earning him a marmite reputation. You either love him or you don’t; but you still listen to what he has to say—he has seen it and worn the T-shirt and is happy to tell all.

Grant has:

  • Created a Facebook page with over 6.8 thousand dentists and marketers;
  • Built 6 dental squat practices;
  • Sold 5 million pounds worth of dental businesses;
  • Achieved only 2 ‘O’ levels yet managed to get 2 degrees and become a dentist;
  • Built one of the fastest-growing dental chatbots & CRM systems;
  • Mentored dentists worldwide;
  • Sell out courses for dentists to learn about dental marketing & business;
  • Runner up for dental industry awards for his marketing & advertising course;
  • Become a diamond Invisalign provider;
  • Built the fastest-growing and one of the largest private squat practices in Devon over a 4 year period;

Donna Hewitt

An experienced marketer, Donna has worked across various industries throughout her career and has been in dental marketing for 8 years. She is passionate about keeping processes and systems simple, so they are actually utilised.  

She is never afraid to challenge the norm and ask those awkward questions—no question is a dumb question—plain speaking, why use jargon if you don’t need to?She has built one of the fastest-growing dental ChatBots & CRM systems in the U.K.

Outside of the RoboReception Squad Life, Donna is also a mum, who enjoys discovering new places, both near and far.

Shrutika Shah

Varta Creative Studio

Shrutika is the Founder, Creative Director & First Storyteller at her agency, Varta Creative Studio; and the lead designer of the RoboReception website.

A passionate designer since her first stint with Microsoft Publisher when she was 9 years old, she went on to study design from the age of 16 and graduated from the University of Westminster with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic & Communication Design in 2015. She has worked across multiple design disciplines such as publishing and advertising ever since; and worked with big-name clients including E&Y, McDonald’s and Universal Pictures throughout her career, before launching her own studio in early 2020.

She now leads her agency from its base in England and has successfully launched over 20 brands—including 9 healthcare and dental brands—in the first 3 years of the business.

Jonathan Jacobs

GMDA was established in 2011 as a network for healthcare professionals advising on legal, accounting, financial and banking matters for the dental profession. Ian is a father of 7 and Grandad to 3, he is also first to volunteer to work with our ever growing international client base; we don't know why he likes traveling so much.

William Lowe


William, has just shy of 20 years working within customer centric environments, alongside teams big and small where the focus has been around providing quality and delivering on what is promised.

His career started in hospitality, where he led teams in a variety of establishments, consisting of pubs and bars in London, as well as hotels, and finally working as a front of house manager on an Eco Resort in Tobago.

William transitioned into account and client management within the education sector. Where he lead on the facilitation of training for his clients, so the organisations they represented had the required skill sets to thrive as companies in the 21st Century.
